Human Resources Manager Location: North Haven, CT (Onsite) Salary: $85,000-$110,000 + Discretionary Bonus Why This Human Resources Manager Position? Stable, well-established company with a long-standing presence in manufacturing Reports directly to the VP of Finance strong visibility to leadership Hands-on role with full ownership across HR and payroll functions Modern, large-scale facility with a mix of office and operational exposure Opportunity to impact processes, compliance, and employee experience across the organization Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager Oversee full-cycle HR operations including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and recordkeeping Manage and process payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain timekeeping systems and partner with managers to resolve discrepancies (PTO, missed punches, etc.) Administer benefits including 401(k), medical, and open enrollment processes Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ACA, E-Verify, CT reporting, etc.) Support safety initiatives including training, reporting, and maintaining OSHA-related documentation Assist with workers compensation claims and employee leave administration Maintain employee files, I-9 documentation, and HRIS records Coordinate with staffing agencies and assist with temporary workforce management Prepare payroll reporting, audits, and general ledger support as needed Preferred Qualifications of the Human Resources Manager 2+ years of experience in HR and/or payroll functions Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees Knowledge of HR compliance, labor laws, and benefits administration Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office Bachelors degree SHRM Certified #INMAY2026 #LI-OR1 #LI-Onsite EB-...
