JOB SUMMARY:
The Talent Development Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of development strategies across the organization. The manager will play a key role in ensuring the learning solutions created are implemented in a fashion that is timely, relevant and enhances the professional and technical capabilities of our organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

- Model and champion our leadership qualities (live Douglas values, chart the course, energize others and raise the bar).
- Develop best practice systems, processes and tools to support employee development initiatives.
- Lead the coordination, prioritization and implementation of development initiatives across the organization.
- Responsible for training center strategies and oversight.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement for the leadership program continuum including but not limited to; New Leader Assimilation, Leadership Academy, and Leadership Excellence.
- Develop and deliver projects to drive customer service excellence.
- Facilitate learning and development that achieves organizational objectives and goals.
- Lead and support culture initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Training process and instructional design experience
- Excellent leadership qualities, organizational and managerial skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, persuasive, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development or leadership.
- Minimum of five years of experience in training or organizational development.
- Minimum of three years of successful leadership experience.
