We are a 5 year running Top Workplace in the Greater St. Louis area. Job Summary Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Senior Recruiter who is passionate about recruiting. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work an in person or hybrid schedule. Responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to attract, hire and retain employees. Managing recruitment life cycle to include job postings, applicant tracking, strategic sourcing, candidate pre-screening, interviewing, selection, and overall candidate engagement. Develop and implement innovative, targeted recruitment strategies to attract and secure top-tier talent for the company. Lead recruitment and selection processes that are both legally compliant and cost-effective, ensuring alignment with established performance metrics. Maintain accurate records and reports on all phases of the recruitment process. Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing talent, guiding candidates through the phone screen and interview process, offer negotiation, and onboarding
Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract talented professionals for current and future hiring needs, while fostering ongoing relationships with prospective candidates
Build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers and leaders through transparency, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through. Aligning recruitment efforts with organizational growth
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through networking, partnerships, and workforce planning initiatives
Provide guidance to fellow recruiters
Contribute to special projects and broader talent acquisition initiatives that support team and business goals
Collaborate with leadership on staffing needs
Manage job requisition creation, postings, and marketing efforts
Analyze recruitment and retention metrics to identify trends, improve processes, and drive data-informed decisions
Maintain knowledge of market trends, compensation benchmarks, and regulatory requirements
Ensure a positive candidate and onboarding experience reflects the organization's culture and values
Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience
Proven ability to develop and execute recruitment and retention strategies
Proven ability to build relationships with hiring managers, community organizations and other recruiting sources
Strong source skills and experience working with LinkedIn recruiter or similar systems
Experience working with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team setting/collaborative environment
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple open roles and display strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
Strong PC skills with business and communication software (Word Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
MS Office experience required in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Recruitment and Human Resources Policies
Knowledge of state federal and state employment laws
PHR or SHRM-CP Designation preferred
The salary range for this position is $87,911.00/year- $114,285.00/year for the state of Illinois. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
