The Recruiting Coordinator is the first point of contact for all prospective hourly employees.
This is a temporary role with an expected duration of a minimum of 90 days, based on business needs. Upon completion of the duration of this role, the selected candidate will return to their previous role and respective rate of pay.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
Conduct prescreening of applicants using approved questions to assess qualifications and schedule availability
Deliver accurate, compelling, and informative overviews of the company and role to candidates
Schedule and coordinate in-person interviews
Greet and escort candidates to and from the Recruiting Office
Ensure completion of applications and administer computer-based skills assessments prior to interviews
Support offer letter distribution and pre-boarding activities
Initiate background checks and coordinate drug testing processes
Maintain organized, accurate documentation of all recruiting activities
Ensure candidate records and ATS data are complete, current, and compliant
Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities
Proactively contribute to projects that support team objectives and personal development
What You Bring
Energetic, engaging personality with a passion for candidate experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Hands-on experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proven success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-up and a customer-focused mindset
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Demonstrated integrity with strict adherence to confidentiality standards
Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and take on challenges
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to execute detailed tasks using varying levels of direction
Professionalism, tact, and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
Experience with database management or administration
Education and Work Experience
1-2 years of Recruiting experience administrative support within a call center, staffing agency or high-volume recruiting environment.
High School Diploma/ GED required, college degree preferred.
Internal Eligibility Criteria:
No active PIP within the last 6 months
Good Attendance Record, 85% or higher for the last 90 days
QA Scores, 85% or higher average for the last 90 days
LOB KPIs at or above goal for the last 90 days
For lateral transfers, 6 months in current role/LOB
For promotions, no minimum tenure required
Must be located onsite in Charlotte, NC.
