As a Senior Compensation Analyst with the UCLA Health Compensation team, you will fulfill a core guiding principle of our Compensation philosophy. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, analyzing, and optimizing compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top clinical and non-clinical talent. Partnering closely with HR leadership and business stakeholders, you will ensure our compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with both market trends and our mission to deliver exceptional patient care. As our Senior Compensation Analyst, you will apply advanced compensation concepts to support the organizations compensation programs, including wage implementation actions related to labor relations activities within the compensation team. You will provide consultation and guidance on a wide variety of compensation strategies and labor issues, as well as performing job classification analysis, supporting the administration of wage programs, and benchmarking market data. You will also serve as a project team member and may assume project management responsibilities.
Salary range for this role is $95,400 to $208,300 annually

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis and administration
- Advanced data analytics skill set, advanced Excel skills, familiarity with Tableau and ability to customize and join complex data sets for large scale analyses, programs and projects
- In-depth knowledge of compensation practices and programs
- Proven experience working with collective bargaining agreements and union environments
- Experience with collective bargaining grievances or dispute resolution process
- Understanding of compensation-related laws and regulations (federal, state, and local), including FLSA
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a wide variety of constituents, including clients, colleagues and all levels of management
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- MarketPay and PeopleSoft experience preferred
