Salary/Hourly Rate:
$115k - $130k + Bonus opportunity
Position Overview:
The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead and scale the company's recruitment strategy during a period of rapid growth. This individual will oversee full-cycle recruiting operations, develop talent acquisition processes, partner closely with executive leadership, and build a best-in-class candidate experience. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with experience leading recruiting initiatives within fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Responsibilities of the Director of Talent Acquisition:
- Lead and scale the talent acquisition function to support company growth.
- Partner directly with executive leadership and hiring managers on workforce planning and hiring strategy.
- Prioritize recruiting initiatives based on business needs and hiring demands.
- Build structure, processes, SOPs, and scalable workflows across the TA function.
- Oversee and improve full-cycle recruitment efforts across corporate and operational roles.
- Remain hands-on with sourcing and recruiting execution, particularly for leadership and difficult-to-fill positions.
- Deliver a high-touch, white-glove recruiting experience for executives and senior leadership candidates.
- Advise leadership on compensation trends, market conditions, and hiring competitiveness.
- Evaluate and improve current ATS functionality and recruiting technology processes.
- Develop dashboards and reporting metrics, including Time-to-fill, Fill ratios, Hiring bottlenecks, and Recruiting KPIs.
- Support executive reporting and board-level talent acquisition presentations.
- Streamline onboarding and recruiting processes to reduce missed steps and improve operational efficiency.
- Build relationships and manage external recruiting partnerships and search firms.
- Assist in refining organizational structures, job descriptions, and hiring workflows.
- Mentor and support existing TA team members while creating greater accountability and proactive recruiting practices.
Required Experience/Skills for the Director of Talent Acquisition:
- 7 - 10+ years of talent acquisition experience with prior leadership experience is required.
- Proven ability to build recruiting infrastructure and scalable hiring processes.
- Strong executive presence with polished communication and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting executive and senior-level hiring initiatives.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on recruiting execution.
- Strong understanding of compensation trends and talent market conditions.
- Experience creating recruiting dashboards, metrics, and operational reporting.
- Ability to influence leadership, guide hiring managers, and appropriately push back when needed.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment requiring urgency and adaptability.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently without heavy oversight.
- Strong process orientation and operational follow-through.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Director of Talent Acquisition:
- Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other fast-paced/high-growth industries is preferred.
- A combination of agency recruiting and corporate recruiting experience is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting public companies or highly visible organizations.
- Experience with TA technology, AI recruiting tools, and process automation initiatives.
- Experience evaluating and improving ATS systems and recruiting workflows.
- Familiarity with Paylocity and LinkedIn Recruiter platforms is preferred.
- Experience supporting board presentations or executive-level reporting initiatives.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- An advanced degree and/or HR certification is preferred.
