Reports to:
VP of Enrollment (PCA&D). While focused on the Live Experience Design & Production (LiveX) program, this role operates as a core member of the PCA&D Enrollment team and works in close coordination with the Academy of Live Technology (ALT) US to align recruitment strategy, messaging, and experiences.
Work Location:
Rock Lititz (Lititz, PA) with regular presence at PCA&D (Lancaster, PA) and travel as needed
Position Summary:
The LiveX Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for driving enrollment growth for Pennsylvania College of Art & Design's Live Experience Design & Production programs (Certificate, AFA, and BFA).
This role blends live events industry expertise with modern enrollment strategy-translating
real-world production experience into compelling recruitment campaigns, hands-on experiences, and national pipeline development.
Success in this role will be defined by the ability to:
- Expand LiveX visibility beyond Southcentral Pennsylvania
- Build sustainable, out-of-region recruitment pipelines
- Convert interest into applications, admits, and deposits through high-impact, industry-connected experiences
This position is embedded within PCA&D's Enrollment team while working in close collaboration with the Academy of Live Technology (ALT) US to ensure recruitment strategies reflect both academic and industry priorities.
About the Academy of Live Technology at Rock Lititz
Live Experience Design & Production (LiveX) is delivered in partnership with the Academy of Live Technology (ALT) at Rock Lititz-one of the most distinctive training environments in the live events industry.
Students learn in the same ecosystem where major tours and productions rehearse, gaining exposure to:
- Industry-grade rehearsal studios and production environments
- Vendor partners and production companies
- Real-world workflows across sound, lighting, staging, and visuals
The Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in translating this environment into authentic, high-impact recruitment experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Pipeline Development
Build and execute an annual LiveX recruitment plan (markets, travel, KPIs)
Identify and grow "right-fit" pipelines:
Performing Arts High Schools
CTE programs (theatre tech, AV, stagecraft)
Community colleges and transfer pathways
Music, esports, and production-adjacent programs
Develop influencer networks (educators, counselors, program directors)
Partnerships & Industry Engagement
Establish and maintain partnerships with:
Production companies, venues, festivals, and vendors
Create recruitment-facing experiences:
Demo days, shadow opportunities, mentor sessions
Support articulation/MOU pipelines into LiveX
Build national virtual pipelines (info sessions, counselor briefings, digital engagement)
Events, Travel & Representation
Represent LiveX at:
Industry conferences (USITT, NAMM, AES)
High schools, CTE fairs, and counselor events
In collaboration with ALT US team, plan and host:
Rock Lititz Experience Days
Admit and yield-focused events
Virtual tech talks and live-streamed demonstrations
Yield & Conversion Strategy
Design and execute LiveX-specific yield journeys:
Faculty and industry engagement
Peer and ambassador outreach
Scholarship and financial aid reinforcement

Tech readiness onboarding
Program immersion and community-building touchpoints
CRM, Data & Reporting
Utilize Slate Student Recruitment CRM to:
Track inquiries, events, and conversion metrics
Maintain strong data hygiene and prospect/inquiry attribution
Collaborate on report development tied to:
Territory performance
Event ROI
Funnel progression
Marketing & Content Collaboration
Partner with Marketing to develop:
Short-form video and social content
Program storytelling (gear, tech, student experiences, outcomes)
Ensure messaging aligns with PCA&D brand, ALT standards, and industry expectations
Student Experience & Transition
Create a seamless handoff from recruitment to enrollment:
Faculty introductions and mentorship connections
Pre-term engagement and onboarding
Gather and provide leadership with feedback to continuously improve recruitment strategies
Compliance & Access
Uphold institutional policies and best practices (FERPA, etc.)
Expand access for:
First-generation students
BIPOC students
Pell-eligible populations
Non-traditional and career-changing learners
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
- 1-3 years in admissions, recruitment, outreach, or partnership development
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to learn CRM systems, Slate, PowerFaids, PowerCampus
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel; flexibility for evenings/weekends
Preferred Qualifications (Minimum qualifications plus)
- 2+ years in live events or entertainment production (touring, venue operations, AV, lighting, staging, etc.)
- 1-3 years in admissions, recruitment, outreach, or partnership development
- Experience with Slate (Events, Deliver, Queries/Exports, Forms/Portals)

Engagement:
- Launch 8 national virtual events
- Establish 4 partner pipelines or micro-portals
Working Conditions
Hybrid office and event environment across Academy of Live Technology at Rock Lititz and PCA&D, with regular travel to schools, venues, and conferences.
Ability to lift and transport event materials
Exposure to loud production environments; adherence to safety protocols required
