This position is responsible for managing payroll operations, employee benefits programs, leave administration, and employee records while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now. Responsibilities: Administer biweekly payroll processing, including employee changes, deductions, and payroll audits Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, terminations, and annual open enrollment Ensure compliance with payroll, benefits, and leave laws, including FMLA and employment eligibility documentation Generate payroll, benefits, and compliance reports for HR leadership and Finance Maintain confidential employee records and assist with HR audits and process improvements Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with direct payroll and benefits administration responsibilities Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred Knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws related to payroll, benefits, and leave administration Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Benefits and Perks: Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid holidays and comprehensive benefits package Professional development, certification support, and career advancement opportunities Your New Organization: IM Houston is a longstanding nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing people of diverse faith traditions together through service, dialogue, and community partnerships.
