This is a hands-on role that provides support in the areas of recruiting, coaching/development and employee engagement.
What You'll Do
Manage the recruitment and selection process. Implement creative ways to source talent.
Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with Operations to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions.
Ensure employee inquiries are answered and/or properly addressed in a timely manner.
Assess training needs and implement training programs.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Perform periodic audits of people data and work with Corporate HR to reconcile any discrepancies.
Coordinate with Corporate HR for employees on Disability, LOA, FMLA, Light Duty, Modified Duty, and Restricted Duty.
Manage a Payroll Assistant and assist with payroll processing as needed.
Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Who you are:
Proven experience as HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
People oriented, Customer Service and Results Driven.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases. We use UKG.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business.
Proven planning and organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong skills using Microsoft Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint.
At least 3 years of experience in HR or related field.
Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Can multi-task and work in a fast-paced changing environment.
Work independently as well as in a team environment.
