JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Human Resources Manager
Qualifications: High School Diploma
Reports To: Superintendent
Essential Functions:
Recruitment and Staffing
Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention of district employees
Develop job postings and advertise open positions
Maintain applicant tracking systems and personnel records
Employee Relations
Serve as a resource for employees regarding policies, procedures, and benefits
Address employee concerns, complaints, and conflict resolution matters
Support employee engagement and morale initiatives
Compensation and Benefits
Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement, and leave programs
Coordinate annual open enrollment processes
Ensure accurate employee status changes and payroll coordination
General Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain HR databases and documentation systems
Collaborate with district administrators, principals, and department leaders
Perform other duties as assigned
Conditions of Employment: The HR Manager shall be under contract with the Coon Rapids Bayard Community School Board of Directors and shall abide within and benefit from all directives, procedures, and policies developed by the Administration and Board of Directors.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
Terms of Employment: Salary and work year will be according to the current schedule.
