Job Summary

This role is responsible for full lifecycle recruiting for professional roles supporting Investment Banking & Capital Markets teams. The work includes building recruiting strategies, sourcing and assessing candidates, preparing interviewers, synthesizing feedback, coordinating references/background steps, supporting offer negotiations, and closing hires. The recruiter partners closely with hiring leaders and HR stakeholders, using market insights to guide talent decisions.

Essential Functions

Serve as a strategic recruiting partner to senior leaders and HR partners by developing targeted recruiting plans based on business needs and market conditions

Lead full-cycle recruiting including search strategy, sourcing, assessment, interviewer preparation, feedback synthesis, reference checks, offer support/negotiation, and closing

Maintain proactive, consistent communication with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates

Prioritize work, anticipate challenges, and adjust plans to meet hiring goals

Use passive and direct sourcing techniques to build a strong pipeline for current and future needs

Provide rigorous candidate assessment and informed hiring recommendations

Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective candidates

Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform recruiting strategy

Partner with Compensation and HR to support offer processes; partner with Legal as needed (e.g., restrictive covenants/compliance)

Oversee reference and background checks for finalists

Maintain accurate candidate documentation and activity tracking in the applicant tracking system

Represent the organization's brand, culture, and values to external candidates

Support internal talent movement and onboarding activities as needed

Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., search firms, contract researchers)

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition peers to share insights and best practices

Manage an average of 20-25 searches/projects concurrently

Stay current on recruiting best practices and business strategies

Ensure compliance with Talent Acquisition policies and risk requirements

Leverage AI and other technology to improve recruiting efficiency and decision quality

Influence hiring decisions with data-driven insights

Education

High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience) required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred

Work Experience

5+ years of professional experience in Recruiting or Human Resources required

2+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience required

Investment banking and/or capital markets recruiting experience preferred
