Term: Contract position - 5 months (extendable)
Shift: Monday to Friday - 8 am to 5 pm on site (Potential remote Fridays)
Pay Rate: $30 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:

This role supports organizational growth and a high-performing workforce by managing the full recruitment lifecycle, building strong candidate pipelines, and fostering positive relationships
with internal and external partners
This position works under close supervision
This position is responsible for recruitment of hourly members as well as contributing to the overall recruiting process
Support centralized recruiting efforts
Provide full desk recruiting support
Assist with in-house recruiting initiatives
Responsibilities:
Proactively support the organization's staffing needs and remain informed about ongoing trends and shifts in the job market
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies within assigned areas, including sourcing and attracting qualified candidates
Manage the end-to-end hourly recruitment process for assigned positions, including requisition posting, candidate sourcing, screening, conducting phone interviews, scheduling interviews, coordinating travel and lodging, extending offers, processing reimbursements, and overseeing all related recruitment logistics
Conduct reference checks and facilitate pre-employment assessments as needed
Build, nurture, and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates by leveraging various sourcing strategies to identify and engage with passive talent in order to meet hiring goals
Represent the company at approved career fairs and recruitment events, communicate the organization's value proposition to prospective candidates, and partner with external organizations and community groups to foster effective outreach and promote a diverse workforce
Manage and update the intern program as required
Maintain and keep the Recruitment KPI Dashboard up to date
Support union-related hourly recruitment activities, including recall processes
Serve as backup to the Talent Acquisition Lead when necessary
Create and maintain accurate and compliant employee files, ensuring all required new hire documentation is completed and properly filed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or a minimum of four (4) years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree
Experience in high volume, fast-paced corporate environment with a minimum 1 year in recruitment, pipelining, sourcing
Proficiency in ATS systems, specifically Taleo
PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred
AIRS or LinkedIn certification preferred
Some experience recruiting for engineering roles is a plus
Proficiency using multiple job boards and recruitment tools such as LinkedIn is preferred
Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment, manufacturing recruitment a plus
Experience conducting phone interviews and assessing candidates, verbally
Abilify to effectively represent and promote the organization's strengths and opportunities to prospective candidates
Understand business operations and develop recruiting strategies to fill staffing needs
Strong organizational awareness and ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for creating documents, reports, and presentations
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to clearly read, interpret, and produce written communication in English
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task are essential.
Ability to manage time effectively and to adapt to priority items
Ability to solve problems and think strategically.
