The Senior Compensation Analyst's primary objective will be to implement and administer compensation programs for assigned sectors of BAE Systems, Inc. while partnering and collaborating with HR, managers, and sector stakeholders.

In this role you will:

  • Provide internal consultation and support on compensation decisions, to meet business needs while ensuring alignment to company's overall compensation philosophy
  • Conduct comprehensive job evaluations by analyzing job questionaries and interviewing stakeholders, to ensure FLSA compliance and alignment with the company's job structure
  • Play a key role in all Annual Compensation Planning (ACP) processes, including HR and manager training, systems testing, communications, detailed analysis, and preparation for sector review and approval
  • Facilitate and conduct compensation analyses to support the development of compensation recommendations and highlight any compensation trends within the sector
  • Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive pay information to determine company's competitive position, including market data reviews and analysis of merit/equity budgets
  • Contribute to various enterprise-wide projects such as Job Architecture, Recognition, and process optimization projects
  • Facilitate compensation program compliance with federal and state legislation (i.e. FLSA, EEO) as well as audit support agencies (i.e. DCAA). Support program proposals and compliance audits
  • Provide Global Mobility support on domestic and international assignments to include preparation of assignment agreements, managing inquiries, and processing invoices

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of work experience (equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret complex compensation data and present it to coworkers clearly and succinctly
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4-7 years' work experience
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
