Employee Relations Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Employee Relations Specialist with at least 3 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a Temp opportunity, located in Queens, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and support on workplace issues and company policies
  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters including complaints, conflicts, and performance concerns with a balanced and objective approach
  • Conduct internal investigations related to misconduct, policy violations, or workplace complaints while ensuring thorough documentation and confidentiality
  • Partner with HR and leadership to address workplace trends, mitigate risk, and promote a respectful and inclusive culture
  • Provide coaching to managers on employee relations best practices, including performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution
  • Draft and review written communications such as disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and investigation summaries
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures
  • Track and analyze employee relations data to identify patterns and recommend proactive solutions
  • Support unemployment claims, employee hearings, and other compliance-related processes as needed
  • Assist with development and delivery of training programs related to workplace conduct, harassment prevention, and company policies

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of handling Employee Relations

Employment Type: Temp

Salary: $30-40/hr

Pay Details: $30.00 to $39.00 per hour
