Benefits Coordinator

Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire| up to $65,000
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to identify a detail-oriented Benefits Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will support the HR team by administering employee benefits programs, responding to employee inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of benefits-related activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, eligibility, and enrollment
- Assist with benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and life event changes
- Maintain and update employee benefits records in HRIS systems
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, vendors, and third-party administrators
- Support onboarding by educating new hires on available benefits
- Assist with audits to ensure accuracy of benefits data and compliance
- Help prepare benefits-related communications and materials for employees
- Support leave of absence tracking and documentation (FMLA, disability, etc.)
- Assist with general HR administrative tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of experience in HR, benefits, or administrative support
- Basic understanding of employee benefits programs (medical, dental, 401k, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
