Your Role:
As an HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. You will work closely with a variety of business leaders in close collaboration with the broader HR Business Partner team in our Research & Development organization to provide expert guidance on HR policies, programs, and practices. This position requires a proactive and collaborative approach to enhance workforce engagement and drive organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the business to understand their business needs and develop tailored HR strategies to support their objectives.
* Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee lifecycle events, performance management, and talent development.
* Collaborate with HR centers of excellence to implement effective recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
* Analyze workforce trends and metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support the development and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
* Facilitate change management initiatives and support organizational development efforts.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
* Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
* Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on business partnering, employee relations, and talent management.
* Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proven track record of influencing and driving change within an organization.
