LHH is partnering with a client to identify an HR Assistant for a temporary assignment covering an internal leave. This position starts with structured training and quickly transitions into a more independent, hands-on role. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys a fast-moving, employee-focused environment and is confident navigating systems while solving day-to-day HR inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary contact for employee questions related to HR processes, payroll, and benefits
Manage and resolve inquiries through a case management system, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up
Take initiative on outbound communication to collect necessary details and bring open cases to resolution
Assist with system support, including login issues, password resets, and general user navigation
Review employee data and help determine eligibility for various HR-related processes, including rehire status
Provide administrative support throughout onboarding and other stages of the employee lifecycle
Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate internal teams while maintaining clear communication
Qualifications:
Prior experience in HR support, payroll, customer service, or a shared services environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
Comfortable handling phone-based interactions and managing follow-ups
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly and work efficiently in a high-volume setting
Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
