The Role Job Title Principal Talent Acquisition Specialist - Front Office - Barclays Location Cleveland, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Toronto, 1 day a week in the office/ remote Hours 40 hours per week full time Job type Permanent Talent Sourcers play a key role in our clients' success by partnering with Hiring Managers and Recruiters and developing effective, consultative, professional relationships with them. Through asking the right questions to ensure a detailed understanding of the client and each role, and by leveraging data, historic hiring trends, and market analysis, Talent Sourcers develop bespoke sourcing strategies and then use a range of tools and techniques to find the best talent in the market. Talent Sourcers are brand ambassadors for our clients, bringing each opportunity to life with candidates in a compelling and authentic way to ensure they are qualified, interested, and engaged before being presented to the Hiring Manager. A Principal Sourcing Specialist is a true subject matter expert in recruitment and sourcing and will confidently partner with senior stakeholders to understand even the most complex hiring needs, developing sourcing strategies which focus on finding and engaging passive talent across specialist discipline. Key Accountabilities What you'll do: Act as a trusted advisor to recruiters and hiring managers, shaping sourcing strategies and delivering high-quality candidate shortlists Use market insight and data to influence hiring decisions and adapt recruitment approaches Proactively source and engage top, often passive, talent using a range of channels and tools Create compelling job adverts and sourcing strategies to attract candidates in competitive and niche markets Deliver an excellent candidate experience through clear communication, engagement, and ongoing relationship management Track performance and continuously refine sourcing approaches using data and insights Support and mentor colleagues, sharing expertise and contributing to team success Skills & Requirements Proven expertise in proactive sourcing within Investment Banking, particularly front office roles Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and partner independently with clients and candidates Deep sourcing expertise, using market insights and data to develop and deliver effective strategies for niche hiring needs Skilled in passive sourcing techniques, including Boolean search and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, and ATS/CRM systems Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Confident using a range of systems and tools, including ATS, CRM platforms, and MS Office, to support sourcing delivery Why AMS?
