The incumbent is responsible for the development of junior Employee Relations staff. What You'll Do Leads the implementation of employee relations programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Employee relations issues resolved to managers' and employees' satisfaction while maintaining employee engagement. Conducts investigations into employee relations issues that have been escalated by managers and/or HR Generalist/HRBP. Effective resolution of employee relations issues. Ensures compliance with employment legislation while supporting the timely resolution of employee issues Advises and coaches managers on the resolution of employee relations issues, including compliance and application of employment laws and regulations and conflict resolution. Ensures administrative tasks are completed (e.g. documentation for investigations). Deliver other HR projects (e.g. deliver harassment training) in a timely manner. Manages, coaches, and develops Employee Relations staff reporting to this position. Other duties and projects as may be assigned. What You Need 9+ years progressive HR experience preferably in ER and management Certified Professional HR (PHR), SHRM- CP or Senior Professional HR (SPHR) preferred Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations. Ability to establish strong partnerships with functional and business leaders to develop and execute on long and short-term HR strategies that directly support the business. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to professionalism timelines accuracy follow-through and anticipating business needs. Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills. Innovative, future-oriented and open to new thoughts and ideas. Willing to challenge the status quo and be a strong influencer.
