Job Title: Summer Intern/Helper Talent Management & Personnel Support (TMPS)

Location: Hutto ISD HR Cottage

Duration: June 2 - August 1, 2025

Hours: 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday

Compensation: $15 per hour

Position Summary:

Hutto ISD is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented individual to provide summer help in the TMPS Department. This temporary position is ideal for a college student or recent graduate interested in gaining experience in a professional office setting while supporting the district's HR operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; current college enrollment in Human Resources, Business, Education, or a related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Google Applications (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Professional demeanor and willingness to learn

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of new hire paperwork and orientation materials
• Help with posting job openings and tracking applicants
• Organize and maintain employee files and records
• Support summer hiring processes for substitutes, temporary staff, and seasonal workers
• Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and general office duties
• Provide support to TMPS staff on various projects and day-to-day tasks
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Other duties as assigned
