None Minimum Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Human Relations, Communications, Liberal Arts, or another related field Minimum (1) year work experience in recruitment Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge: College admissions and recruitment Community college practices Computer-based student information systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) Skills: Communicating, both verbally and in writing Organizing work Public speaking Abilities: Pay attention to details Be diplomatic Meet the needs of diverse populations Locate, save, search, close. and open computer files Create and send meeting notices, locate contact information, send/receive emails, and search in Outlook Insert illustrations, tables, watermarks, changes, etc. within WORD Insert mathematical formulas, headers/footers, using pivot tables, and removing duplicates within Excel Use templates, paragraph and font functions, slides, slide transitions, themes, images and illustrations, spell check, color/grey scales, and text fields within PowerPoint Physical Demands/Working Conditions PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: The work is sedentary work which requires the person in this position to occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force to grasp, lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: Manual Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling. Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which one must convey detailed or important spoken information or instructions to others. Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and make fine discrimination in sound. Repetitive Motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Visual Acuity: Requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as but not limited to: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. Work is performed in an office environment. Work is performed during office hours; some evening and weekend hours may be required. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree (or enrollment in Master's Degree) in Education, Higher Education, or Educational Leadership Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required Training Quarterly compliance training as assigned by institution Annual CSA training is required for individuals holding this position.
