What Youll Do
As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will own and continuously improve the full lifecycle recruiting process for highly technical roles supporting federal clients (e.g., DoD, Veterans Affairs). Beyond managing your own requisition load, you will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and leadershipproviding market intelligence, shaping talent strategy, and mentoring junior recruiting staff. You will also play a key role in pre-award and proposal recruiting, directly contributing to business development and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full lifecycle recruiting across multiple concurrent requisitions (10-15+ roles), including intake, sourcing strategy development, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and close
Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers and program leadership, providing data-driven guidance on market conditions, compensation benchmarking, and workforce planning
Recommend and execute advanced sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill cleared technical roles (e.g., software engineers, cloud architects, cybersecurity professionals, IT program managers)
Build and maintain robust, diverse candidate pipelines with a track record of filling roles within a 1030 day timeline
Drive pre-award and proposal recruiting efforts (unfunded positions), partnering with business development teams to identify and pipeline talent for upcoming contract opportunities
Develop and refine recruiting processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes across the team
Support outsourced recruiters, and future junior recruiters sharing expertise on sourcing techniques, stakeholder management, and cleared talent markets
Maintain accurate pipeline data and reporting in ATS/CRM systems to support forecasting and leadership visibility
Requirements810 years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience, with a significant portion in the government contracting industry
Demonstrated expertise recruiting for cleared positions (DoD clearances including Secret, Top Secret, and TS/SCI)
Proven track record supporting federal clients such as DoD, VA, DHS, or similar agencies
Experience with proposal and pre-award recruiting, including resume preparation and compliance requirements
Deep knowledge of cleared/govcon talent markets, including compensation trends, competitive dynamics, and sourcing channels
Advanced sourcing proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job boards, referral programs, and professional networking
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise hiring managers and senior leadership
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a high-volume environment
Working knowledge of OFCCP compliance and federal hiring regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel), Slack, and enterprise ATS platforms
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; military experience welcomed
Preferred Experience
Established professional network within IT, engineering, cybersecurity, or management consulting communities
Experience leading or mentoring a recruiting team or function
Familiarity with federal contract vehicles, labor categories, and wage determinations (e.g., SCA, CBA)
Track record of contributing to winning proposals through talent acquisition strategy
Experience with recruiting analytics, pipeline reporting, or talent market research

The compensation range provided reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role, with the final offer determined by a variety of factors including skills, experience, and scope of responsibilities.
Salary Description $105,000.00$120,000.00 (with bonus $120K$160K)
