Our client, a $90B AUM asset management firm, is seeking a Compensation Manager to join its Strategic Accounting & Finance team. The role is based in Manhattan, New York. Responsibilities: Run annual and mid-year compensation cycles (planning, reporting, data checks, system admin). Recommend pay decisions for hires, promotions, transfers, and salary changes using market and internal data. Benchmark roles and analyze market pay to ensure competitive and consistent compensation practices. Support pay equity analysis, compliance, and changing compensation regulations. Conduct compensation analysis and provide insights for HR, Finance, and leadership. Partner with Payroll, Finance, HR, and business teams on compensation issues, reporting, and budgeting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6-8 years of compensation or total rewards experience. Experience in complex organizations, ideally financial services with multiple teams and geographies. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret compensation data and make recommendations. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Power BI and compensation systems (Beqom preferred). Strong organization and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Clear communicator who can work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
