We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Director of Human Resources to support multiple hotel properties within our hospitality portfolio. This leadership role partners directly with General Managers and operational leaders to drive employee engagement, talent development, compliance, and overall HR strategy across assigned hotels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, has strong employee relations experience, and can balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational support. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Leadership Serve as the primary HR partner for multiple hotel properties. Support hotel leadership teams with employee relations, coaching, performance management, and organizational development. Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and hospitality standards. Employee Relations & Compliance Conduct workplace investigations and provide guidance on corrective action and performance management. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Support leave administration, workers' compensation, unemployment matters, and risk management initiatives. Recruitment & Talent Development Partner with management on recruitment, onboarding, staffing, and retention strategies. Support leadership development, employee engagement, and training initiatives. Assist with succession planning and performance evaluation processes. HR Operations Partner with Payroll and Benefits teams to support team member transactions and HR administration. Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting. Support HRIS systems and employee onboarding processes. Qualifications 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within hospitality or hotel operations. Multi-property HR experience strongly preferred. Strong team-member relations and investigative experience. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment Ability to travel between hotel properties as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. *The anticipated compensation range for the position is $105,000K-$115,000 per year.
