Payroll / Benefits Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll processing and benefits administration for approximately 200 employees. In this role, you will be the primary steward of our payroll and timekeeping systems (UKG), ensuring that staff are paid accurately, taxes are filed correctly, and employee benefits are flawlessly administered. Working under the guidance of the Fiscal Director, you will also play an integral role in data analysis, compliance auditing, and supporting the broader functions of the Finance Department.

salary: $25 - $35 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–3 years of payroll and/or accounting experience
• Experience with payroll systems (UKG is a MUST)
• strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and data analysis)
• Experience with benefits administration
• strong organizational skills with the ability to manage detailed payroll and filing systems
