ENA offers a flexible hybrid work schedule that allows employees the opportunity to work from the office two days a week and at home three days a week. We are headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The HR Coordinator is responsible for thoughtful administration of HR practices across the HR team and the association. This role is highly involved in the candidate and employee experience as they support our recruiting efforts, onboarding experience and the logistics of staff events and programs. The HR Coordinator has a strong attention to detail, solutions based-brainstorming skills and meeting deadlines even when other priorities arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supports the recruiting function by coordinating interviews, scheduling, and logistics to ensure a successful candidate and hiring manager experience.
  1. Supports the offer-to-hire process by coordinating all activities in Monday.com, preparing onboarding materials, tracking activities, scheduling orientation sessions, and collaborating on administrative set up.
  1. Coordinates the plans and logistics for Org Dev programs, events, and initiatives, including Launch Day, Appreciation Day, Wellness Week and the Summer/Holiday celebrations.
  1. Maintains ADP landing page to be an engaging resource for staff to retrieve on-demand human resources materials and information, including org charts, directories, benefit information, time & attendance, and development/engagement materials.
  1. Updates internal communications including the whiteboard and electronic communication screens for staff meetings, events and important HR information relevant to that month or timeframe.
  1. Tracks compliance training completion and follows-up with employees as needed.
  1. Supports the staff milestone and recognition program, including communication with staff and managers regarding anniversaries, maintains master sheet and coordinates with the HR Specialist to ensure awards are ordered and stay within budget.
  1. Maintains electronic and physical employee records and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance.
  1. Supports human resources department through various activities such as coding invoices, managing HR email inbox, employee verifications, HR calendars and scheduling, and supports routine administrative and reporting tasks.
  1. Contributes to the workplace culture that is consistent with the association’s culture statement and emphasizes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  1. Displays a high level of accountability, taking responsibility for individual actions and the impact on the organization. Views oneself as a reflection of the organization by following through on commitments and accepting ownership.
  1. Performs additional related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Associate degree required or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years in Human Resources or equivalent working experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products, including elevated skills in Excel with Pivot Tables and VLOOK UP.

Desired:

  • HRIS experience
  • Project management software experience (Monday.com or related program)

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently on assigned duties
  • Ability to prioritize multiple varied tasks within established deadlines
  • Excellent collaborative communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to exercise a high level of discretion and independent judgment
  • Ability to interface with staff, board and external relationships in a professional manner

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is a non-exempt/hourly position. The targeted salary range is $55k-$60k annually. Compensation is determined based on a range of factors including education, experience, certifications or specialized training, skill level and operational needs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business computer equipment. Requires ability to communicate verbally and in writing in an exchange of information; collect, compile and prepare work documents; set-up and maintain work files.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Majority of work is performed in a general office environment.
