We are seeking an entry-level HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations for our Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams in Spanish Fork, Utah. This role serves as a frontline HR support to employees and managers, ensuring smooth HR processes, and delivering a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will assist with employee lifecycle activities, HR administration, and compliance while building strong relationships across the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees on the floor, providing day-to-day support and answering HR-related questions.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation, paperwork completion, and employee transitions.
- Assist with recruiting coordination such as scheduling interviews, preparing offers, and maintaining applicant tracking.
- Maintain and update HR systems (HRIS/ADP Workforce Now), including employee records, status changes and promotions while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Support employee relations by addressing basic concerns and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Administer and track FMLA leave in partnership with the company's third-party vendor, ensuring accurate documentation, timely follow up and smooth return to work coordination.
- Maintain HR documents, job descriptions, and internal resources (SharePoint or similar tools).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Partner with HR leadership on administrative HR projects and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 0-3 years of HR experience or administrative experience in a professional environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); HRIS experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to support workforce communication.
