Role Summary The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to drive full-cycle recruitment efforts across highly specialized technical domains, including cybersecurity and software engineering. This role will play a pivotal part in building talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions, directly impacting the organization's ability to scale and innovate.
You will partner closely with hiring leaders and HR stakeholders to design and execute targeted recruitment strategies, particularly for senior and niche technical roles such as cybersecurity leadership, platform engineering, data modeling, and penetration testing. This position requires strong sourcing expertise, executive presence, and the ability to influence hiring decisions in a competitive talent market.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and engage top technical talent, with a focus on cybersecurity and engineering roles
Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive candidates for current and future hiring needs
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview processes, and candidate profiles
Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding leaders on market trends, hiring strategies, and best practices
Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through consistent, transparent, and professional communication
Utilize market data and analytics to refine recruitment strategies and improve hiring outcomes
Negotiate offers in alignment with market benchmarks and organizational guidelines
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with recruitment processes, policies, and employment regulations
Key Requirements 3-7 years of technical recruiting experience, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and/or software engineering roles
Proven ability to source and recruit for highly specialized positions (e.g., cybersecurity leadership, platform engineering, data modeling, penetration testing)
Demonstrated expertise in proactive sourcing techniques and talent pipeline development
Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions for complex roles
Strong understanding of technical skill sets within cybersecurity and modern engineering environments (not IT support or service desk roles)
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and maintaining compliant, audit-ready recruitment documentation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility across stakeholders
High level of professionalism, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Additional Details Location: Fully onsite, Monday-Friday in Richardson, TX
