Payroll/Benefits Manager

Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive client in the Smyrna area of Atlanta, GA in their search for a Payroll & Benefits Lead. This is a CONTRACT position for 5 months. This position requires in-office work; therefore, only candidates who live in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area will be considered. RESPONSIBILITIES Handle end-to-end, multi-state payroll processing for salaried employees Manage garnishments and payroll taxes, maintaining compliance Review, reconcile and audit payroll, assuring accuracy Handle benefits administration, including broker engagement, eligibility, and payroll deductions Oversee Open Enrollment Evaluate 401k plans QUALIFICATIONS At least 3 years of hands-on multi-state payroll processing with benefits administration experience REQUIRED Experience in Paylocity or ADP Workforce Now is REQUIRED Must have experience working with Benefits brokers, managing Open Enrollment, and evaluating 401k plans Must be familiar with federal and state laws related to payroll & employment Payroll certification is preferred Must be able to work 100% in-office Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
