Learning & Development Consultant
Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or Phoenix, AZ, 85016
Pay Range: $40-52/hr. on W2 ONLY based on experience.
Mainly Hybrid role with occasional travel to Pittsburgh (must be within driving distance)
Days of the week / Working Hours: Undetermined, this role will be a random part time schedule, based on the availability of work and when the resource is needed for things such as covering or filling in for another team member.
Length of Assignment: 12 Months Contract to Hire role
Function of the Group: We are leadership development. We support the development of leaders of all levels and various aspects across the enterprise. We have both nomination programs, so our high performing leaders, that we facilitate as well as new manager onboarding. We also have ad hoc items in the middle such as a strategic initiative; Team A is challenged in coming together because an org collapsed and they are not communicating so we come in and do a session to help build trust and enhance communication or emotional intelligence.
Industry background: Leadership background required, Financial/Banking background also preferred.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Partners and supports key initiatives through various tasks, projects and assignments for an organizations learning and talent development programs.
Supports various initiatives for learning and talent programs, processes and policies according to organizational human resources strategies and in support of achieving business outcomes.
Designs, develops and delivers a variety of learning and talent development programs to live audiences both in-person and virtually. May provide stand up classroom instruction in person and/or virtually to employees, managers and senior leaders across the enterprise.
Provides on going support to monitor progress and evaluate learning and talent development strategy effectiveness.
Develops strategic relationships with both internal and external partners, collaborating effectively.
Drives innovation by applying current trends, improving tools, and fostering a growth mindset.
Comfortable in the hybrid space being able to engage audiences who are being pulled in a variety of directions to be able to focus on their own development ability to help them grow themselves and their teams.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (8+ Years of Experience Required):
1. Leadership Experience with Strong Communicator,
2. Teams,
3. PowerPoint,
4. Workday Experience
Education:
Bachelors Degree Required. May look at experience in lie of education if experience is high level.
Pre-Screening Questions:
1. We work on high profile projects with advanced visibility. Please provide an example of a time when you have experienced something from that perspective and had a great need for agility.
2. Please describe a time when you have experienced difficult feedback and what actions did you take to start to adjust?
3. Please provide an example of work that youve done to support leaders or leadership skills previously.
Interview Process: Panel style interview with manager and set of peers 1 hour. Will include a teach back portion
