Summary Description:
We are seeking a motivated, experienced HRIS Analyst to join our team! The HRIS Analyst plays a critical role in the support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR Systems for Billerud North America, and the processes they support.
This role will provide critical support to the business on a day-to-day basis and may also provide specific support for business-critical processes and participate on project teams.
Billerud North America utilizes Dayforce in North America as our HRIS System of Record and Cegid Talent Soft as our global master data system.
This role provides essential daytoday HRIS and systems support for Billerud North America, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and a seamless user experience across HR operations. Serving as a Tier 1 subject matter expert for Dayforce (North America HRIS) and Cegid TalentSoft (global master data), the role supports businesscritical processes, manages system inquiries, and partners with vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
Qualifications
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide administration, subject matter expertise, and Tier 1 customer support for BNA HR systems, including triage and response associated with the HRIS mailbox / ticketing system
- Implement an HRIS reports strategy; Build and/or run system and custom HR data reports to meet various requirements and stakeholder requests, document common reports and any customization, maintain customized reports, schedule and deliver reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Vendor Support and/or Value-Added Services (VAS) team with respect to system issues, enhancements, or new configuration;
- Manage and work to completion outstanding support tickets as assigned.
- Manage VAS projects, as assigned.
- Provide guidance and direction to HR Administrators regarding system processes.
- Perform HRIS Data Audits on a quarterly basis, manage resulting action items.
- Stay abreast of system updates, enhancements, software releases, hot fixes, etc.; evaluate release notes, update user procedures accordingly, communicate key changes to end-users, and recommend implementation of enhancements and new or improved functionality.
- Manage Dayforce Import and Export files, working with Dayforce VAS as appropriate.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to optimize HRIS functionality and usability.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for HRIS processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Other HRIS responsibilities as defined.
Personal qualities
Minimum Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology or other business or IT related field
- 5-7 + years of experience as a specialist or analyst in process or data systems, preferably in HR
Travel: Occasional travel may be required. Less than 10%.
Required skills:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
- HRIS acumen and related system and process management experience. Dayforce experience preferred.
- Familiarity with HTML and XML programming languages.
- Comfort and confidence working closely with Information Technology resources and understanding company-wide technology interdependence.
- Ability to properly organize and prioritize workload.
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to translate plan or process intent into systematic function.
- Success in this position will be dependent upon the successful candidate's ability to quickly learn and become a subject matter expert in Billerud's
- HR systems, utilizing vendor training, documents, internal resources, and self-development.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with system implementation, configuration, or enhancement is a plus.
- Prior experience with data analysis and data analytics is a plus.
