Senior Compensation Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to support the design, analysis, and administration of compensation and total rewards programs. This role partners closely with HR and business leaders to ensure competitive, equitable pay practices that align with business goals and support talent attraction and retention.

Responsibilties

  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to support compensation initiatives

  • Support the design, implementation, and administration of base pay and variable compensation programs

  • Conduct market pricing and salary benchmarking using survey tools; analyze data to ensure competitive positioning

  • Maintain and enhance job architecture, including job descriptions, leveling frameworks, and pay bands

  • Provide guidance on compensation decisions (promotions, transfers, market adjustments, etc.)

  • Lead and support annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus, and equity reviews)

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (FLSA, wage & hour, EEO, etc.)

  • Develop and maintain compensation policies, procedures, and documentation

  • Build reports and deliver insights through data analysis and modeling

  • Support compensation-related projects, presentations, and process improvements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis, design, and administration

  • Experience with job architecture, salary surveys, and market pricing

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field (advanced degree preferred)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas), HRIS systems

  • Ability to work with large datasets and build compensation models

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

  • High level of discretion with sensitive and confidential information

Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
