Transdev is excited to welcome an enthusiastic and organized HR Administrator to join our team and contribute to our Paratransit Transportation Services in Allentown, PA.
As an HR Administrator, this role will support key Human Resources administrative functions. The ideal candidate will play an important role in maintaining employee records, supporting benefits and compliance initiatives, assist with payroll processing, and delivering exceptional support to employees and leadership.
The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent employee support are essential for success in this role. Hours for this position are generally Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm and include occasional weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
Support biweekly payroll processing and maintain payroll accuracy.
Assist with recruitment activities, candidate sourcing, and initial outreach.
Maintain employee records and HRIS/payroll data.
Prepare HR documentation, including onboarding and employment-related forms.
Support leave administration, benefits tasks, and compliance activities.
Track required training, certifications, and employee documentation.
Serve as a first point of contact for HR and payroll-related inquiries.
Assist employees with HR systems, policies, and self-service tools.
Support HR reporting, audits, and administrative projects.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1-2 years' experience of Human Resources and or Payroll experience preferred.
Transportation experience helpful.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence people at all levels of the organization, both vertical and horizontal.
Proven problem-solving skills.
Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while exceeding established goals and objectives.
Proficient in ADP and HRIS systems (i.e., entering, running reports, etc.).
Trapeze and VDS experience helpful.
Ability to interact effectively with a variety of internal and external customers in various positions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, Excel, and Access.
Physical Demands:
90% of work is accomplished in doors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
10% of work is accomplished out of doors.
Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and repetitive hand- wrist-eye and finger motion, and extensive computer work. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Limited light lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching required.
May be asked to travel to company functions or for outside training.
