This position serves as a direct, structural succession path to the VP of Sales seat within the corporate framework.

Job Description: The Industrial Sales Manager will own accountability for a high-performing 11-person regional team, including 9 remote Outside Technical Sales Representatives, an Inside Support Team Lead, and a dedicated Services Business Development Lead.

The Industrial Sales Manager will manage a remote, outside salesforce responsible for a revenue quota of $75m-100m while maintaining gross margin targets between 20% and 30%.

This field-first executive will spend up to 60% of the standard workweek conducting joint field visits, enhancing rep capability via "ride-along" coaching loops.

The Industrial Sales Manager must be comfortable building cross-functional relationships with top manufacturing accounts, OEMs, and automation system integrators across diverse verticals like life sciences, robotics, and consumer commodities, while working in lockstep with executive leaders to balance regional profit/loss budgets and scale territory performance cultures.

Requirements:

3-5 years of B2B field sales management experience within an industrial B2B distribution or manufacturing framework.

Direct sales expertise, relationship management, and a proven track record of coordinating multi-stakeholder vendor alignments to co-market technical configurations.

Prior experience managing a remote outside sales force and utilizing CRM pipelines (experience with the Sandler Sales Methodology is highly preferred).

Location: This is a 100% remote field-based sales management opportunity where candidates must reside in MA, RI or NH with ideal candidates being based in Central/Eastern Massachusetts to effectively cover the 495 industrial corridor. Expected to spend 50-60%+ of the week in the field physically shadowing outside reps throughout New England (you are home every night with zero airline travel).
