Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.
American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for a Law and Public Safety Program Coordinator for the 2026-2027 academic school year at our Applied Technologies campus. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design, implement, and evaluate training programs that meet educational and industry standards for first responders.
Work closely with faculty, community organizations, and emergency service agencies to enhance program offerings and provide students with practical experiences.
Assist in the development and review of curriculum to ensure it aligns with current best practices and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and support to students throughout their educational journey, addressing concerns and facilitating access to resources.
Manage program budgets, including resource allocation and financial reporting, to ensure efficient use of funds.
Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and safety practices in all program activities.
Maintain accurate records related to program performance, student outcomes, and compliance metrics, preparing reports for administration.
Promote the program to prospective students and community partners, participating in outreach activities and recruitment events
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Strong ability to develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear instruction, reporting, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and resources efficiently.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, faculty, community partners, and emergency services personnel.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public safety, education, or a related field.
Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in program coordination, emergency response, or education administration.
Understanding of emergency response protocols and training requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in emergency management, public safety, education, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in program coordination, particularly in an educational setting related to emergency services.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Additional certifications in areas such as training development, adult education, or specific emergency response disciplines.
