Staff HRIS Analyst, Workday (San Jose, CA) Synaptics, Inc
JOB DESCRIPTION: Administer and maintain the organization's HRIS, including Workday Configuration, ensuring it meets the needs of HR processes and policies. Compile, analyze, and generate HR reports and dashboards for HR leadership. Support compliance reporting and audit requirements. Serve as the point of contact for HRIS-related issues, focusing on optimization of people-related processes. Participate in the planning, implementation, and testing of new HRIS systems or modules. Collaborate with HR teams to identify areas of improvement and streamline processes using HR technology. Develop and document system workflows, procedures, and guidelines. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks or improve system efficiencies. Monitor and manage user access, permissions, and security roles within the HRIS. Work closely with HR, payroll, finance, and IT teams to understand system needs and align them with organizational goals. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational policies. Maintain global data integrity. Operate as the subject matter authority on the underlying technologies that support people processes. Play a role in various HR projects and functions from design through implementation and training. Telecommute is permitted.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience must include five (5) years with each of the following:
1.Talent management systems.
2.Supporting configuration testing by creating test cases, performing validations, and resolving defects prior to deployment.
3.Workday-specific QA tools.
4.End-to-end HR processes and methodologies.
5.Project management methodologies.
6.System and reporting data analytics.
7.Dashboard and reporting metrics.
8.Cross-functional partnerships and collaboration.
