What you'll be doing

  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Support onboarding processes by verifying accuracy of information and correct entry of records to the HRIS
  • Coordinate and monitor background investigation requests, reports, and billing
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of the quarterly check-in process with associates.
  • Provide onboarding for new associates including facilitating trainings
  • Maintain electronic employee records within the HRIS
  • Compile and generate routine and requested reports; maintain and track legal compliance in areas of required licensures.
  • Lead associate recognition programs and execution of the recognition calendar, the internal CARE committee, and associate communications.
  • Assist with the rollout and completion of the associate satisfaction survey
  • Perform general clerical duties including, document sorting, filing, collating, scanning, mailing and occasional payroll tasks
  • Reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and is involved in multiple activities on any given day from compliance to coaching and counseling or training.
  • Complete additional duties as assumed or assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent education and experience preferred
  • At least two years related experience
  • Demonstrate excellent and positive interpersonal and customer service skills - required!
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace, preferably bilingual (EN/ES)
  • Demonstrate strong focus on integrity and confidentiality
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Effectively use Microsoft Office 365 suite at an intermediate skill level
  • Effectively use HRIS platforms, preferably UKG Workforce Dimensions, at an intermediate skill level
  • Maintain high degree of organization and accuracy
  • Able to sit at a desk/computer for hours at a time
