Seasonal, Non-Union, Non-Exempt Position

$20.00 per hour, 25 hours per week

BASIC FUNCTION OF YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SUPERVISOR:

Responsible for the Youth Employment Program at assigned volunteer work sites. Monitors meaningful work activities at volunteer worksites. May mediate issues between the volunteer site and youth participants as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SUPERVISOR:

  • Supervises youth participants at volunteer sites as assigned.
  • Ensure cooperation and compliance of all participating participants.
  • Responsible for monitoringvolunteer worksite to ensure agreement with worksite agreement.
  • Maintains accurate attendance records of the youth participants.
  • Provides supervision at volunteer worksites.
  • Ensure accuacy of youth payroll including time sheets and volunteer worksite supervisor agreement.
  • Pickup weekly youth participant timesheets.
  • Deliver to youth participants biweekly paychecks in accordance with NOI policy.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

REQUIREMENTS OF YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SUPERVISOR:

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Education or Recreation.

Experience:

Two to Four years of experience in education or recreation programs or similar combination of education and experience.

Job Skills:

Excellent oral communication skills Works well with adolescents

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid CT Drivers License/Access to privately maintained vehicle
