Role Overview
  • Positions Available: 2 Openings

  • Pay Rate: $30.00 / hour

  • Shift Structure: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM)

    • Short Week: 3 days worked (34.5 hours)

    • Long Week: 4 days worked (46 hours — includes 6 hours of automatic overtime every other week)

  • Environment: 100% on-site production floor. Requires physical activity including walking the floor, lifting, bending, and moving items up to 25 lbs.

Position Summary The HR Lead is a hands-on, face-to-face partner embedded directly within our production operations. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, timely support across the entire employee lifecycle, serving as a vital bridge between floor workers, shift managers, and core HR functions.

The ideal candidate is highly approachable, thrives on a busy manufacturing floor, possesses a natural talent for conflict resolution, and can balance a strong floor presence with strict administrative metrics. Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree (or its equivalent) in a Human Resource-related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on floor experience, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Floor Operations & Liaison

  • Active Engagement: Walk the production floor daily, engaging with line workers and contractors to resolve workplace conflicts and boost morale.

  • Shift Handover: Partner with opposite shift leads to maintain clear communication flow across 12-hour rotations.

  • Policy Advocacy: Function as the direct site liaison to communicate, interpret, and implement group-wide HR policies and procedures.

  • Visual Management: Keep department communication boards updated with vital organizational and policy updates.

Operational HR & Data Support

  • Core HR Services: Execute daily requests regarding time/attendance, HR help desk queries, and drive employee self-service models.

  • Data Ownership: Maintain and audit key HR data and transaction metrics for compliance while protecting employee privacy.

  • Continuous Improvement: Provide data insights to leadership and participate in cost-improvement and resource-coordination projects.

Shift & Production Collaboration

  • Performance Feedback: Deliver ongoing formal and informal individual performance evaluations.

  • Resource Optimization: Support budget planning, expense management, and track specific time metrics for NPI and pre-production.

  • Floor Awareness: Interface with maintenance regarding equipment downtime alerts, quality indicators, and scrap reduction
