Human Resources Specialist
The Human Resources Specialist supports daily HR operations and helps ensure a positive, compliant, and efficient workplace. This role assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, policy communication, and employee relations while maintaining confidentiality and supporting organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment process by posting jobs, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees, including preparing documentation and completing required forms.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems while ensuring data confidentiality and compliance.
  • Administer HR programs such as benefits, leave tracking, and employee policy acknowledgments.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace programs.
  • Support employee relations efforts by helping address workplace concerns and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Assist with performance management, training coordination, and employee engagement activities.
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Prepare HR reports, track key metrics, and support process improvements within the HR function.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in human resources, recruiting, administration, or employee support is preferred. Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and HRIS systems is beneficial.
