Human Resources Specialist
The Human Resources Specialist supports daily HR operations and helps ensure a positive, compliant, and efficient workplace. Key Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment process by posting jobs, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees, including preparing documentation and completing required forms.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems while ensuring data confidentiality and compliance.
- Administer HR programs such as benefits, leave tracking, and employee policy acknowledgments.
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace programs.
- Support employee relations efforts by helping address workplace concerns and escalating issues when appropriate.
- Assist with performance management, training coordination, and employee engagement activities.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
- Prepare HR reports, track key metrics, and support process improvements within the HR function.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in human resources, recruiting, administration, or employee support is preferred. Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and HRIS systems is beneficial.
