Your Role & Impact
As a Healthcare Recruiter at McLeod Health, you will play a vital role in sustaining our mission by attracting and securing the talented professionals who make our health system exceptional. Working closely with hiring managers across the organization, you will manage the full recruitment lifecyclefrom identifying talent to welcoming new team members through onboarding. Your efforts directly support our ability to deliver outstanding patient care across our seven-hospital regional system.
What Youll Do
Workforce Partnership
Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Partner closely with leaders across the system to maintain appropriate staffing levels that meet organizational demands.
Maintain Regulatory Knowledge: Stay current on McLeod Health policies and procedures, with special attention to Employment Law under Federal and State Regulations.
Talent Attraction & Marketing
Represent McLeod Health: Actively market the organization to attract qualified candidates at career fairs, classroom visits, interview sessions, and other outreach events.
Build Candidate Pipelines: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective talent across a variety of sourcing channels.
Candidate Management
Screen & Evaluate Applicants: Thoroughly review and assess candidates for vacant positions as assigned, ensuring a strong match between candidate qualifications and organizational needs.
Maintain Open Communication: Keep applicants informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process regarding available employment opportunities.
Offer Coordination & Onboarding
Coordinate Job Offers: Manage the full offer process and in-processing of newly hired candidates, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
Ensure File Compliance: Verify that all new hire and transfer files meet the requirements of the Survey Readiness team.
Reporting & Additional Duties
Complete Talent Management Reports: Prepare and submit reports as requested to support data-driven workforce decisions.
Other Duties as Assigned: Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support departmental initiatives as needed.
What You Bring
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
03 years of related work experience in recruiting, human resources, or a related field
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Aptitude and adaptability to learn various software products and applicant tracking systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance
