JOB PURPOSE :
The HRIS Analyst I entry-level role provides support for the organizations Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and related HR technology applications. This role assists with HR data maintenance, system transactions, reporting, troubleshooting, auditing, and end-user support to ensure efficient and accurate HR system operations. The position collaborates with HR functions, Information Technology, and organizational stakeholders to support data integrity, regulatory compliance, system functionality, and overall operational effectiveness of HR systems and processes. Provide HRIS support for Oracle EBS, Taleo, OBIA, and related systems; train users; and troubleshoot system, process, and data issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Assist with the daily maintenance, support, and monitoring of HRIS applications and related systems to ensure efficient HR operations. Process, validate, and update HR system transactions including employee data changes, organizational updates, and workflow requests. Support system security access administration, user provisioning, and workflow routing processes. Assist in troubleshooting basic HRIS issues and escalate complex system concerns to appropriate technical resources. Support system testing activities for upgrades, patches, enhancements, and HR technology initiatives. Maintain accurate employee and organizational data and assist with data audits, validation, and discrepancy resolution to ensure data integrity. Generate routine and ad hoc reports to support HR and operational reporting needs. Review HR transactions, identify errors or discrepancies, and support correction and resolution processes. Respond to HRIS-related inquiries from employees, leaders, and HR staff while providing system navigation and basic troubleshooting support. Support user training efforts by assisting with documentation, user guides, and process materials. Maintain confidentiality and deliver professional, timely customer service when handling sensitive employee information. Support compliance with organizational policies and applicable employment laws and regulations, including assistance with audit documentation and reporting requirements. Document standard operating procedures, workflows, and system processes as assigned. Identify opportunities for HRIS process improvement and operational efficiency enhancements. Participate in HR technology projects, system initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
A valid driver's license from state of residence is required.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent professional certification) preferred.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is required.

EXPERIENCE
2 years of experience in compensation conducting, job evaluation, market pricing , salary analyses and compensation program administration.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Professional progressive level experience in Human Resources Information Systems, HR Operations, or related systems. Experience supporting enterprise HR systems, including Oracle or similar platforms, as well as HR reporting tools, analytics, system troubleshooting, and workforce-related processes preferred. Preferred experience includes Oracle EBS, Taleo, OBIA reporting, Oracle Cloud, Power BI (Business Intelligence) HR system integrations, project management, database management, and supporting HR operations within utility, government, or unionized environments.
