HMG+, a leader in hospitality staffing, is happy to share with you an exciting new opportunity for an Event Staffing Coordinator. As an Event Staffing Coordinator, you will help the processes involved in providing and organizing our event staffing department. A strong sense of drive and motivation is key in order to effectively fill client staffing needs and build our business towards projected growth. This is a great opportunity for an absolute taskmaster; someone with an analytical mind who has the ability to pivot between different projects and resolve issues quickly, meanwhile maintaining professional, transparent, and hospitable communication with our clients.
Responsibilities :
- Work directly with the Event Staffing Team to fill staffing gaps on all events.
- Backfill staffing requests according to call outs or cancellations
- Maintain communication with clients, keeping them up to date on their event schedule and staffing requests.
- Ensure that our Service Professionals have consistent shift opportunities according to their availability listed.
- Forecast future event requirements based on historical consistencies and anticipate staffing needs.
- Engage with and familiarize yourself with our Service Professionals on a personal level for improved success.
- Maintain Service Professional and Client account profiles on an ongoing basis, ensuring that our staffing software has the most up to date background information
- Develop ideas for improved engagement, cooperation, and retention of our Service Professional database.
- Send staff confirmation emails on a daily basis
- Send client and captain staff sheets on a daily basis
- Manage event information retrieval and delivery process between clients and event Captains
- Liaise between training and staffing teams on a weekly basis to identify event opportunities for future event leaders through our Captains Development Program
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree preferred, Associate's degree required.
- 1-2 years of staffing experience: hospitality industry preferred, medical, professional, and financial field experience will also be considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience in a hospitality-related field preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative experience preferred.
