HR Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing and stable manufacturing organization to identify a Human Resources Generalist who will play a key role in supporting employee relations, compliance, and HR operations-with a strong focus on workers' compensation and leave of absence (LOA) management. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a hands-on environment and partnering closely with operations leadership in a fast-paced setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and administer workers' compensation claims, including reporting, coordination with carriers, and return-to-work processes
- Oversee leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD), ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding injury reporting, LOA questions, and benefits-related matters
- Partner with leadership on employee relations concerns, investigations, and policy interpretation
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Assist with safety initiatives and collaborate with operations to reduce workplace incidents
- Support additional HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, and policy updates
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Hands-on experience managing workers' compensation and LOA/FMLA cases
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations
- Experience working in a fast-paced, employee-facing role
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
