Regional Trainer
Position Summary
The Regional Trainer is responsible for delivering, coordinating, and continuously improving operational training programs that build workforce readiness across KBS. This role facilitates functional, technical, and leadership training to ensure field teams effectively adopt tools, programs, and operational changes. The Regional Trainer serves as a key partner to Operations, Human Resources, and cross functional teams ensuring training programs drive measurable business results and support organizational goals.
Role is 100% remote with 25-50% travel.
Preferred candidate location: Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones
Salary range: $80,000-$90,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver instructorled training (virtual and inperson) aligned to established curricula, including facilitation of interactive sessions, assessments, and structured programs.
- Provide functional, technical, and leadership training while serving as a regional resource for operational tools and systems.
- Support adoption of tools, programs, and operational initiatives by reinforcing learning, assessing learner readiness, and enabling leaders to apply training in the field.
- Support largescale training initiatives, rollouts, and companywide programs, including coordination of logistics, scheduling, and communication.
- Support trainer efforts and drive completion and adoption of required training and certification programs.
- Reinforce awareness of compliance programs and provide guidance in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.
- Evaluate training effectiveness, provide feedback on materials and curriculum, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Partner with Regional Operations, HR, Safety, Recruiting, IT, and other stakeholders to identify training needs, ensure content accuracy, and align on priorities
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and maintain ongoing communication with the Regional Training Manager, L&D, and key stakeholders.

Performs additional tasks and projects assigned by management .
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Knowledge:
Adult learning principles and facilitation best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Foundational knowledge of Workday Learning is preferred.
Training technologies and AI productivity tools.
Operational processes within facility service industries (janitorial and exterior services).
Fluent in Spanish including reading, writing, and speaking (required).

Educational Qualifications / Job Experience Requirements
Education:
Bachelors degree in HR, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of training facilitation experience, preferably in fieldbased environments.

Schedule:
Standard weekly schedule; evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed based on training demands.

Frequent desk work includes computer use and repetitive motions.

Ability to set up A/V equipment for inperson/remote training sessions.
Ability to travel via car, airline, and train.
