HR Technology Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Technology Integration Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. This role will be crucial in ensuring seamless integration between our various HR technology platforms and other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR processes, technical expertise in system integrations, and a proven ability to manage projects effectively. You will play a key role in optimizing our HR technology ecosystem and driving efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • System Integration Management:

    • Design, develop, and implement integrations between HR systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS, Payroll, etc.) and other enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, etc.).

    • Utilize APIs, web services, and other integration tools to connect disparate systems.

    • Monitor and maintain existing system integrations, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working closely with vendors and internal IT teams.

    • Document integration processes, configurations, and data flows.

  • Project Management:

    • Lead or participate in HR technology integration projects, from planning and execution to testing and deployment.

    • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource estimates.

    • Manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.

    • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.

    • Work with project managers, and business analysts to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Data Management and Analysis:

    • Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.

    • Develop and implement data validation and cleansing procedures.

    • Analyze data to identify trends and insights and provide recommendations for process improvements.

    • Support data migration and conversion activities.

  • Vendor Management:

    • Collaborate with HR technology vendors to resolve integration issues and implement system enhancements.

    • Evaluate vendor solutions and provide recommendations for new technologies.

    • Assist in the management of vendor contracts and relationships.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Utilize low-code integration platforms to construct and maintain integration configurations.

    • Maintain a strong understanding of HR technology trends and best practices.

    • Stay current on API development, web services, and other integration technologies.

    • Provide technical guidance and support to HR team members.

    • Work with security teams to ensure secure data transfer between systems.

    • Collaborate with IT on all integrations and serve as the technical liaison between IT and HR.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify and recommend improvements to HR technology integration processes.

    • Document and standardize integration procedures.

    • Work with HR business partners to understand and improve current workflows.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR technology integration or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data.

  • Experience with SFTP (flat file) integrations, API development (REST, SOAP), and data integration tools.

  • Working knowledge of in SQL, JavaScript and data manipulation languages.

  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other HR technology platforms.

  • Project management experience, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects 2 and priorities.

  • Understanding of data security and privacy principles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with specific integration platforms (e.g., Workday Studio, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft).

  • Experience with cloud-based HR systems.

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).

  • Experience with testing platforms for API testing & validation.
