We are looking for a highly adaptable and resourceful People Operations Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This position will report to the Director, People Operations. In the absence of the Director, People Operations, this position will report to the next level manager unless otherwise defined or assigned.

What you'll do in the role:

  • The People Operations Generalist works across multiple areas of HR, with a strong focus on benefits administration, onboarding, recruiting and general HR operations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Administration: Partner with Director, People Operations to manage benefits programs, including open enrollment, administration, and communication to employees.
  • Onboarding & Training: Coordinate the onboarding process post offer acceptance through company orientation, accelerating employee readiness and ensuring a smooth handoff to the hiring manager.
  • Recruiting: Conduct in-depth phone screens and effectively leverage our assessment tools to evaluate candidates' qualifications and potential to excel in their role and within our dynamic work environment.
  • Compliance & Legal: Assist in development and documentation of HR policies and procedures, support compliance efforts including recordkeeping and audits and maintain HR systems and records to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with other responsibilities or projects based on business needs.

Education & Licensure Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Other Skills or Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist capacity.
  • Knowledge or experience in benefits and recruiting/onboarding processes preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex problems in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience working with HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proactive, organized and committed to creating a positive employee experience.
  • Passion for helping others, a keen eye for detail, and a natural ability to build trust and communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
