Payroll HR Specialist

A client of ours in the nonprofit industry located in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a Payroll and HR Specialist to join their team. This position is an administrative support position within the HR department and will be responsible for processing new hire paperwork and managing workers compensation and unemployment claims. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitve pay rate and benefits package.

salary: $37,000 - $42,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support the electronic onboarding of new employees within the PayCom system.
• Accurately record and process all employee data changes in PayCom.
• Administer comprehensive reference and background checks for new hires.
• Oversee the processing of Workers' Compensation and Unemployment claims.
• Manage all Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) paperwork.
• Provide assistance and backup support to the payroll department as required.
