We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Professional to be on our Executive Leadership Team ensuring human capital resources meet operational and strategic goals. Responsible for the entire employee lifecycle from recruiting, on-boarding, engagement and retention to payroll, benefit administration and employee relations & performance. Directly responsible for maintaining knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance.
Major Duties:
- Work with Department directors to ensure adequate staffing; responsible for the recruiting and on-boarding of all staff.
- Develop training and maintain e-learning platform.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating HRIS System which houses applicant tracking, on-boarding, payroll, scheduling, accrual balances, and benefit administration.
- Prepare bi-weekly payroll. Ensure accuracy of quarterly and year end payroll reporting.
- Compensation analyses and management.
- Manage the annual benefit process including obtaining quotes, plan design, employee education and enrollment of eligible staff in benefit programs for health, dental, life, flex & disability as well as company sponsored 401k plan.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment and payroll laws. Create, update and implement human resource policies. Review and update Employee Handbook as needed. Educate employees accordingly.
- Manage FMLA, ACA, Unemployment process, ERISA reporting, EEOC and OSHA reporting and annual Workers Compensation projections and audit.
- Manage broker, vendor and TPA relationships. Update contracts and conduct Request for Proposals when warranted.
- With CEO, lead All Staff and Leadership Team Meetings. Present at resident meetings.
- Measure and sustain community wide engagement to ensure a positive living and working environment.
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or related field. 3-5 years experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data analysis.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Ability to promote a positive workplace culture and champion employees.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience with presentation development and delivery to a variety of audiences with confident public speaking skills.
- Demonstrates an interest in working with a senior population.
