Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field. We are actively looking for a mid-level Recruiter to join our Recruiting team on the West Coast. This position will work with hiring managers across the US to identify entry, junior, and mid-level talent in the coastal, maritime (port/harbor/intermodal), transportation, structural, MEI, water resources, and environmental engineering industries. The successful candidate will need to be located near one of our offices on the West Coast and may enjoy working from home.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Works with hiring managers to document details required to request approval to post and recruit for needed position(s)
- Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions
- Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers
- Identifies candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
- Pre-screens resumes and evaluates the effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools
- Documents candidate evaluation and interview process
- Negotiates and/or supports the hiring manager in developing new hire compensation package/offers
- Maintains OFFCP compliance throughout the recruiting process
- May conduct reference checks
- May provide performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources
- May assist in supporting and maintaining college recruiting, affirmative action, and career development programs
- May also assist with the immigration process and administration as a liaison with our HR Business Partners and immigration attorneys.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; required
- 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting in Civil or related infrastructure/environmental engineering; required
- Experienced in multiple sourcing options; required
- Experienced and comfortable with direct sourcing candidates (cold calling); required
- Experience with OFCCP compliance requirements; required
- Experience working with applicant tracking system(s); required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation); required
- High level of attention to detail; required
- Availability and willingness to travel, if needed
- Experience as both a corporate and external recruiter; preferred
- Experience with ADP WFN Recruiting platform; preferred
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Base salary range:
$92,000 to $122,000 annually based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualification in job description.
Base salary range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the California or Washington markets.
Physical requirements:
Work is generally performed in an office setting. Ability to use standard office equipment is required. Travel is not required. On occasion, you may travel to another office requiring an overnight stay.
